Suresh Balakrishnan

Suresh was born in Kerala, India. Kerala is a south Indian coastal state of India and is renowned for its 100 percent literacy, coconut based curries, backwaters and eminent people, including Mr K R Narayanan, the former President of India and His Honour K G Balakrishnan, the current Chief Justice of India and a former Chief Justice of the High Court of Kerala.

Suresh moved to Perth Australia in 1999 and completed a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Murdoch University, Perth in 2001 learning under the tutelage of eminent professor and published author Prof. Michael Pendelton.

Suresh moved to Albany in 2001 to work as a Law Clerk with Haynes Robinson. Along the way Suresh qualified and got admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in March, 2005. Suresh is one of the few Solicitors in Albany to have been admitted to practice in two countries.

Suresh practices mainly in the area of wills & probate, commercial litigation, commercial and conveyancing and personal injuries.

Suresh is happily settled in Albany with his wife Priya. Suresh is actively involved in sports and plays tennis, cricket and volley ball. He is a committee member and past secretary of the Merrifield Park tennis Club.
