Philip Wyatt
Phil graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1977. He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia in 1978 and became a partner of Haynes Robinson in 1991.
In July 2008, the ownership of the firm passed from Phil to Jamie Hodgkinson and Phil is now a consultant with the firm. Phil has practised and continues to practise in the following areas of law:
- Commercial Law
- Conveyancing
- Companies and Trusts
- Leasing
- Wills and Deceased Estates
- Stamp Duty
- Family Law
Phil has lived in Albany since 1981 with the exception of a five year period from 1984 to 1989 when he worked in Perth as an in-house solicitor for the late Robert Holmes a Court’s Bell group of companies.
He has been involved and is still involved in numerous activities and pursuits in the area including:
- Director of a local finance company Albany Finance Ltd.
- Member of the committee of the Albany Community Legal Centre Inc.
- Former chairman of the Great Southern Grammar P & C Committee.
- Involved with coaching and assisting junior soccer and cricket.
- Umpiring local football.
